- Baseline STI screening, where treatment is indicated
- Providing a prescription for the 2-Drug PEP regime (business hours) or a starter pack and prescription (after hours)
- Streamlined referral to a tertiary service, when a 3-Drug regime is indicated *
- Same day supply of “Doxy-PEP” when clinically indicated
- Telephone follow up to discuss your pathology results, and address concerns you may have, including any side effects associated with treatment
- 6-week and 12-week follow up and pathology testing – in clinic or via telehealth.
* A 3-Drug PEP regime is expensive. The pharmacy price for the 3rd medicine is approximately $1,300. However, this can be accessed free of charge through a public hospital, which we will arrange on your behalf.
